Operational Optimization
Logistics Optimization aims at designing the most appropriate operational model for each logistic service. In order to achieve this, a team of specialists from Webb identifies the operational premises required to compose this model. For the execution of this task, Webb has developed and acquired specific systems and simulators of the logistics activity. They include the following:
- Transcad: Performs the review of the logistic network;
- Webb Fleet Dimensioning: Assesses the dimensioning of the fleet;
- Webb Operations Simulator: Identifies optimized transportation strategies such as transportation circuits, dedicated operation, among others;
- Axiodis / Maxload: Combines route planning with cargo formation;
- Promodel: Carries out the review of processes and dimensioning of structures and equipment for storage, optimization of yard operation, simulations for idle time reduction, etc;
- CAD: Executes the review of the storage layout.
Webb conducts studies of intermodality for its customers, as well as sectoral solutions combining shippers possessing logistical synergies.

Webb consolidates all its benchmarks, standardizes processes and materials to be delivered to its clients with the purpose of obtaining greater efficiency and gain of scale in the performance of its services. All these services are consolidated at Webb’s Logistics Operations Center.
