BrainNet and Webb form joint venture in Brazil
Bonn / Sao Paulo, 02 January 2012 - BrainNet Supply Management Group AG and Webb, the leading Supply Chain Management Consultancy in Latin America, have formed a joint venture called BrainNet Webb Supply Management Consultants S.A. The new company will be headquartered in Sao Paulo with offices in Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City. The start up ocurred on 2nd January
BrainNet is among the world’s most successful and best-known senior management consultancy firms in supply chain management. BrainNet’s current activities and customer mandates in Brazil are being transferred to the new company.
Webb is the leading Supply Chain Management service provider in Latin America, supporting its customers through four complementary Business Unities: Consulting, eBusiness, Logistcs, and BPO, and is now contributing the consultancy business to this joint venture.
The new company, BrainNet Webb Supply Management Consultants S.A., stands to benefit from Webb’s outstanding position in Latin America’s key markets, in particular Brazil and Mexico, its local know-how and its excellent infrastructure and market recognition. In turn, BrainNet is contributing its comprehensive methodological and specialist know-how, its international network of contacts and experts and its international infrastructure.
